Ferguson is not a civil rights issue, it’s a leadership failure issue…

Ferguson is not a civil rights issue. Race is not the problem in Ferguson. The problem in Ferguson is lawlessness, and the impact of people like Obama, Sharpton, and Holder to divide the country, and Ferguson, along racial lines, without doing anything to fix the issues. Sharpton, Obama, and Holder are the three biggest, most visible proponents of racial division, casting aspersions on the law enforcement personnel, while hiding the thuggery of the young man involved. And make no mistake: Mike Brown was a young man, a thug showing no conscience in performing strong arm robbery of someone who weighed less than half his bulk, and was at least six inches shorter.

Mike Brown was a thug. This was presented in the grand jury testimony. And yet, there are thousands who are screaming that the grand jury was a setup. Eric Holder’s investigation into the police force is a travesty, as I don’t see any investigations into the numerous black-on-black murders that happen everyday, in all the major cities of the US. Where is the outrage when a black man, shouting islamic phrases, butchers a woman and beheads her in front of everyone? Where is the moral indignation when four black teens use hammers to kill a white man? Where is the demand for justice when two black men kill a newly-wed white man, and execute his PREGNANT wife? Where is the president? Where is Eric Holder? Where is the NAACP, demanding that these young thugs DO NOT represent the people of color?

The silence is deafening, and in this deafening emptiness, we hear people shouting for justice for Mike Brown. People walking around, blocking traffic, in complete ignorance, yelling “Hands up, Don’t shoot”, something Mike Brown never said. But, hey, what’s facts when you have liars like Al Sharpton demanding justice. In reality, if Mike Brown were still alive, he actually would have got the justice he deserved: Strong Arm Robbery, Assaulting a Police Officer Performing His Duty, Resisting Arrest: Five years (minimum) in jail, no college, and a dead-end life when he got out. Had Officer Wilson tasered Brown and got him on the ground, the result would have been different. But, because Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Barack Obama, and Eric Holder needed a scapegoat to take people’s minds off the failings of Barack’s presidency, a thug is now considered on par with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The reality is, there hadn’t been a true racial divide since the sixties, and then, the Democrat party were responsible. Way back in the 1800s, it was the good ol’ boys of the democrat party that held all the seats of power in the ol’ south. It was the democrats that, after the Civil War, enstated things such as the voting exams, poll requirements, etc., all to prevent the “Negro” or “colored folks” from having the rights to vote. In deep south USA, it was the democrats that formed the first Ku Klux Klans, and are still prominent in them today. The good ol’boys of the south, along with the good ol’ boys of the north, all democrats, crafted all types of legislations, typically called Jim Crow laws, to keep the black people down. And now we have the democrat party working the same premise, along with their overseers, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, to keep black Americans down.

It took the Republicans, working hard, and fighting against the democrat senators, representatives, and governors, to push the Civil Rights Act through. Lyndon B Johnson, a democrat president, along with Hubert Humphrey, his democrat vice, tried to stall and push off the act, for fear of offending the strong democrats he needed to pursue a Vietnam strategy. The Republicans forced the act through, thereby insuring that people of all races and religions have the freedom granted in the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution as the forefathers deemed.

Yet, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have been steadily undermining the achievements of black Americans constantly. Both, acting as the overseers of the new democrat plantations, are steadily telling black people they don’t have to listen to laws and can do what they please, knowing their masters, the democrat party, are ready to jump in quell dissent. Back in the old days, the masters would use a mix of whips and rewards. Today’s masters use the rewards: Free cell phones and minutes, free internet, EBT cards, etc., to quick their constituents in line. And woe betide those who would step out of line, because the hatred and vitriol spewed at them would make Satan, or ISIS, ashamed.

What does the above have to do with Ferguson? The idiocy of the democrat party, as well as the elites in the liberal establishment, are using a trumped-up excuse to bash, not just Ferguson, but America overall. Mike Brown never put his hands up to surrender. Mike Brown knew that all he had to do was get down on his knees, or spread-eagle on a car, and Officer Wilson wouldn’t do anything to him. But Mike Brown, as the old people say, smelled his own piss, thought he was a bad man, and figured he’d take the cop down because Mike was in his own neighborhood and his people would have his back. Wrong, and deadly, assumption, Mike Brown. The grand jury testimony showed that, instead of giving up, Mike Brown was aggressively attacking Officer Wilson. Mike had already attacked the officer in his own car, and then compounded the stupidity by charging back at the officer. His “friend”, Dorian Johnson, said he was hiding behind another car, in a different direction from Mike, yet claimed to have seen Mike walking back with his hands up. And people believe him.

Why the grand jury? Because, if this had gone to a criminal trial straight away, witnesses would have been intimidated to change their testimony or to lie, or even forced to leave the area. Under a grand jury, where all charges start from anyway when there is doubt about a shooting, witnesses can tell their stories without being intimidated. In this case, the grand jury heard the stories from the witnesses, read all the reports, reviewed all the information, not just some, but all, and reached the verdict of No True Indictment, meaning that the shooting was justifiable. Yet, Al and Jesse and Holder and Obama all want to turn this into an attack on black people. And then spread the turmoil worldwide, with not an ounce of truth. And the mainstream media continually spouts the lies, fighting the truth, to make everyone believe that the thug named Mike Brown was really an angel. But facts, they do not lie, and the grand jury had all the facts.

What the black people in a America are supposed to be doing, is banding together, electing officials that will work for them, and educating our young. What is happening is that Al and Jesse are putting black people back on the plantation, the NAACP is supporting Al and Jesse’s actions, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s dream is being pushed out by those who are supposed to be his supporters. When those people who are so easily led, wind up in a ghetto (in the old European meaning of the word: A separate community apart from and different, either racially or religiously, from the surrounding city), and then bussed out to work and sent back when they’re done, look to Al and Jesse and the NAACP and the democrat party, and think of them ol’ lies: Hands Up, Don’t Shoot!

I have been quiet over the last few weeks. This isn’t because I haven’t had anything to say. On the contrary, there have been so many items to go over, that I’ve felt a great surfeit of choice…sorta like being at the buffet on a cruise ship, and trying to pick just one thing to have.

We have had ISIS push hard to wreck and destroy Syria, but stymied by one town, right on the Turkish border. Makes a difference when you stand up to oppressors doesn’t it? ISIS/ISIL have found out what true determination is, bleeding their troops against a wall of determined Kurdish people who know the meaning of the word oppress, and refuse to subject themselves to a tyrannical state. Shame we can’t get out president on board with this. Shame the Turkish barely supports this. What does Erdogan think? If Syria falls, then Turkey is safe?

We have Ebola running rampant through several West African nations. The way the Africans handled it? They imposed quarantines and refused exits and entries into their countries. Borders were sealed, and house to house investigations were performed. The result: An immediate decrease in the spread of Ebola in those countries that did this. What did Mr. Obama do? Refused to implement any type of controls, resulting in at least one infected person that we know about, slipping into the country. We have a doctor floating around New York city, a city that already had one major traumatic incident (9/11), and then suddenly finding out he had Ebola. And who could forget the nurse who returned from a highly infected area, but considered it an infringement of her liberty to be held in quarantine. Yet while in Africa, this same nurse thought nothing of maintaining quarantine. What was the difference? Nothing, except her arrogance.

We have had the mid-term elections, elections that Mr. Obama claims that while he wasn’t on the ballots, his policies were, and the decisions would be shown by the American public. Yet, when the Democrat party was soundly routed in the ballots, Mr. Obama, as usual, changed his rhetoric. According to him, the reason the Democrats lost was that Mr. Obama’s demographics were ‘disenfranchised’ and that only older white people voted. Last time I checked, I was and am classified as Black, and I voted. So did quite a few people I know. The people spoke, and the people want our president to act as a president, not as a king. The last king we had in America was Dr. King, and he would be ashamed of the policies of this president.

All in all, the last few weeks have been enlightening. Mr. Obama claims mightily that he will not send combat troops to Iraq. Yet, we are sending up to 3000 combat troops to West Africa to assist in Ebola operations. Our troops are for combat. If you want to send qualified health care experts to combat disease, there’s the CDC, the Public Health Service (a uniformed service organization), Peace Corps, etc., that can be sent instead. Use the proper tools in the proper place. However, the emperor-in-chief deigns to push his forces where he may.

The latest Labor Dept. numbers for jobless claims show there is a fall in the number of claims. Okaaaayy…..and this means what? The true indicator of an employment rise is the number of permanent jobs added. However the Labor Dept., and well as several other well-meaning but short-sighted organizations, use jobless claims as an indicator of job growth. Unemployment claims, or rather, the lack of claims, prove one thing, and one thing only: People have reached the limit of their claims and cannot claim any more benefits. That’s like saying the water in a leaky bucket remains at a constant low, because no extra water is flowing in. That disregards the holes in the bucket that keeps the water leaking out at the same constant rate as the water going into the bucket. The current spin specialists in this government have gone overboard trying to make Obama look good. So far, they’ve managed to raise him to mediocre.

Yes, there is plenty to aim at with the tailings of this lame duck presidency. Let’s see: Mr. Obama wants to use executive action to resolve the immigration issue. Hmmm, seems that Mr. Obama is treading on the Congress’ prerogatives. I believe that the Supreme Court recently issued a ruling that it is up to Congress, which is the federal government, to enact and enforce immigration laws. This was the ruling that invalided some of Arizona’s laws concerning immigration. So, if it’s the Congress’ responsibility to enact and enforce the laws, according to SCOTUS, how can the president suddenly decide it’s his job? The answer is, he can’t. Executive action can only be applied to laws that are already in place, or in areas that are the executive’s portion to make a decision on. Since this isn’t a treaty, an executive order implementing any immigration reform or changes is invalid upon signature. Mr. Obama oversteps his authority as president. Let’s see, what else? Mr. Obama is now sending more troops to Iraq. Again, he states these are only for training. However, Mr. Obama hedges his bets by saying that if he were told that the ISIS/ISIL were transporting a ‘nuke’, he would be forced to send in combat troops to intercept and/or destroy said device. Short step from there to, if we see a possibility of harm to the people of the US. Can’t seem to keep your promises, but then again, Obama never said ‘If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor’ either.

I said before, and I’ll say again, Mitt Romney should have been voted President. Mitt’s advisors did him a great disservice by not letting him be the man he is. Mitt’s advisors should have taken him to the inner cities to speak with those inner-city leaders and let them see the man he is. His advisors should have allowed Mitt to speak in all the debates in the same manner as he did in the first one, and people would be able to see that Mitt is a man who cares for his country, above all else, and is not an egotist of the highest degree, like the current president. Mitt’s advisors failed him. I hope that Mitt Romney will take up the baton again, and strive for the presidency. I believe that Mitt can be what America needs to retrieve her image, and her allies, from the mess the current president has put us in.

Our Current Policy Failures…

Today, the folly and fallacy of the current president’s policies are now coming to fruition in Iraq. ISIS is banging on the door to Baghdad, and Kobani, the last strategic town in Syria, despite the numerous bombings by air frames, is nearly half overrun. And then, after all the posturing and posing, HRH Barack Obama claims that it was never his idea to pull out of Iraq. Another policy failure has come home to roost: Today, an American was determined to have caught the Ebola virus, infected here in the country, not in Africa.

We have terrorists cutting people’s heads off, not just in Iraq and Syria, but in the USA, in middle America. We also have others murdering Americans in the name of Islam and jihad, and the government that is supposed to be protecting us, ignores these happenings. The Ft. Hood terrorist, excuse me, murderer, still demands to be known for his jihad against the American infidels. The Oklahoma maniac has a Facebook page that depicts how he feels, extolling ISIS, yet the federal government refuses to call him an Islamic terrorists. With the impending collapse of Baghdad, and the possible takeover of the Baghdad International Airport, will we be seeing a repeat of Vietnam? Will we see helicopters ferrying personnel from the rooftops of the US Embassy to safe havens in the Kurdish North? Now is the time for our president to stand up and use the forces that he has to do what he should have done in 2011: Put US combat troops on the ground, a division of army as well as a brigade or two of marines, to stem the flow of ISIS, reverse their successes, and drive them out and destroy the organization.

We also need to send a brigade or two of US combat troops with support to the Ukraine, to show our resolute support for the current democratically elected government. This will help to stem the expansionist dreams of Vladimir Putin, which, incidentally, would probably cause an implosion in Moscow. This would also show our allies around the world that, although we tend to turn the other cheek, we only do that so often before we put boot to rear to help our friends.

We also need to beef up our presence in the South China Sea, and provide a warning to the Chinese military by firing warning shots at their jets that tend to want to come close to our ships and planes. By doing so, we show that we will not be intimidated, nor will we let our allies be intimidated, by China’s attempt at expansionism.
We need to firm up our southern borders, and we need to immediately deport anyone that comes over the border. We shouldn’t be moving people to other detention centers. If the countries where these people are coming from are having issues with gangs and drugs, then we should offer our assistance to help them build up their federal and local law enforcement, including providing military assistance. If these countries don’t want this help, then we should insure that all of their people are returned, and curtail any aid we are providing.

All of these things should be implemented by having our president stand up and be the man America is supposed to be. He needs to take decisive actions in Iraq, Syria, the Ukraine, with the Chinese, and on the borders. I am really afraid, as he has done with Iraq, he’ll bow his head and take no actions.

The ISIS Issue…

ISIS is on the verge of claiming another town in Syria, one that could act as a launching point for attacks into Turkey, a NATO member. The Kurdish fighters who are besieged in this town are fighting courageously, holding out against odds that overwhelmed the Iraqi defense forces. US airplanes are bombing positions around the town, providing some relief, but the issue is not air power. The issue is ground support, support that should be coming from the coalition partners, to support the Kurdish fighters. Since barack Obama has denied US combat troops entry into the mission, this requires support from the coalition partners that will operate in Syria, namely the coalition of Muslim nations that have signed on for this effort. But there are no troops coming forward, and this is a bad thing.

We know it’s bad because of the tactical issue: without more support, the town may fall this weekend. But it’s bad on the geo-political strategic level, also. The Kurds are being hard-pressed, and need assistance. If the Muslim nations, UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, came to the aid of the Kurdish people, maybe there would be an opportunity for the long broiling resentments between the two peoples to be settled. The Kurds could feel that they can broker an agreement between themselves and the Muslim nations they live in, and the Muslim nations could get support from some of the strongest, most dangerous, and most organized fighters in the region. The president should have been working to foster that kind of agreement long ago, when he said no US combat boots on the ground. By supporting the Peshmarga in Iraq, and the Kurdish forces in Syria, as well as coordinating support between the groups and the Muslim fighters, maybe something could have been salvaged. As it is, we need to support the Kurdish fighters, as they are the only ones taking a concerted stance against ISIS and their splinter groups.

I do not say the Kurdish fighters are blameless innocents. The Kurds are ferocious, and courageous, and violent. The Kurdish fighters have fought Turkish and Iraqi military to a standstill, and would stop the Taliban in its tracks. Al Qaeda never attempted to subvert the Kurdish people, because the Kurds do not believe in their form of life. For the Kurds to be able to stand as they have, reflects the Kurdish lifestyle, and the hard path the Kurds have had to travel.

The administration’s strategy of bombing the ISIS fighters to “degrade and eventually destroy” ISIS only works if we are willing to use nuclear warheads. This is an unthinkable action. The use of airpower does not guarantee that ground will be captured, fighters on the ground will be subdued or eliminated, and gains will be achieved. Air power is only effective in concert with a coordinated ground campaign. And despite the many pundits elaborating on the media outlets, a ground campaign does not require the use of hundreds of thousands of troops. A decent infantry division, backed by sufficient air power, will make a severe impact and implode ISIS in its tracks. Unfortunately, we have a new-era democrat president, who believes that, like Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton before him, the military can be used piecemeal to affect “Political Changes”, despite the fact that military forces are not chess pieces for politicians. Instead of assigning a substantial number of military troops to support the air campaign, this president sends US troops into Africa to fight a disease. This president has watched Outbreak too many times. The US military is a strategic weapon of policy used to enforce decisions by the civilian politicians, or as a means of last diplomatic resolution to discussions of strategic importance. The US military is not a police or Emergency Medical Response force used to take care of those things that the president deems a problem. Use of the military in such actions degrades the combat effectiveness of the units involved, and reduces the capability of the military to respond to true military emergencies. The activities that president has ascribed to the US military would be better handled by the Public Health Service, the Center for Disease Control, Peace Corps, or any of the myriad NGOs set up specifically already for these tasks.

This president has the lowest approval rating of any president at this time of their presidency. He makes decisions based not on the needs of the country, but on political agendas. Meanwhile, in Syria and in Iraq, thousands daily are being killed, left homeless, or are fleeing one of the most horrendous groups since NAZI Germany. Even the Taliban’s efforts are paling in significance to what Baghdadi and his goons are doing, supposedly in the name of Allah.

If Islam is a religion of peace, as the president continually espouses, why are so many people raped, maimed, and killed in its name? Why are the Kurds besieged by this peaceful religion? When will the peaceful Muslims stand up and say “Enough! This Far and No Farther!” When?

Our Debt to Iraq and the Iraqi People

coalition, debts, iraq, ISIL, ISIS, kurdish, obligation, Peshmarga, president, stability, syria

Over the last two weeks, our military has supported the Kurdish Peshmarga’s fight against one of the most brutal regimes since the Khmer Rouge. Arguably, this group is one of the most brutal seen since the 14th century. The Peshmarga have fought hard to push ISIS from the Mosul Dam, and are working to push them from Tikrit, a city the US and its coalition partners cleared prior to President Obama’s decision to leave the country. The US Air Force have attacked targets of opportunity, clearing roads and sides of roads of ISIS terrorists. However, this is not enough.

The US has an obligation to bring US military forces back into Iraq, equip the Peshmarga forces with armor and weapons, and to push the ISIS terrorists and murderers out of Iraq. We have this obligation because we toppled Saddam Hussein and we promised we would help the fledgling democracy stand on its feet. Yes, we lost nearly 4,500 in Iraq, in eight years of fighting. In the same time frame, there were nearly 350,000 deaths from automobile accidents, and over 42,000 pedestrian deaths. The military’s role is place themselves in harm’s way to insure those who would do damage to us and our allies, don’t. This is the reason for a military. The military is the hard fist used when the velvet glove of diplomacy is ignored or thrown in the face of well-meaning peoples.

We have an obligation to those who were crucified, who were torn in half, who were beheaded, who were buried alive, weeping and pleading. We have an obligation to those left behind, crying over the loss of their loved ones, and their livelihoods, people we pledged to help, to stand by. There comes a time when political maneuvering is not enough. There comes a time when those who claim to speak for humanity, who claim to be offended by obscene acts of dehumanizing atrocities, must stand against the barbarians, whether they are at our gates, or at the gates of our friends and allies. It is not enough to send in aircraft that bomb. That is too indiscriminate, and cannot reach those who have hidden, like rats and snakes, in burrows that cannot be touched with attacks from planes and drones on high. It is not enough to send in “advisors” in small numbers, who, hampered by Rules of Engagements that the enemy ignore, must ask permission from others thousands of miles away before even moving forwarding one mile or more.

No, it is time, and past time, to send in large military presences, to establish or reestablish bases, to force the savages back or kill them in their burrows. It is time, and past time, to stand with and train the Iraqi military to become a true military force, able to stand when pressed, led by able officers and NCOs who look to taking care of their men, not profiting from the logistics supplied to keep those troops trained. Now is the time to work with the Iraqi people to rebuild, and rebuild strongly, their fledgling democracy attempts, to insure no one again can push their way in and rape and pillage their country. And now is the time to pursue them over the border into Syria and complete the decimation of ISIS, lend support to the moderates who would fight against Assad, and help to bring peace to that portion of the Middle East, before the Middle East explodes beyond repair.

Our president must send troops, combat troops, in division or better size, into Iraq, into the north, to help the Kurdish government their reassert control. He must send troops into and around Baghdad, not to besiege the country, but to assist in the rebuilding of the coalition of the groups into an inclusive government. We must do this, because, despite what some, or even many, politicians claim, it is in the US’ best interests to have a stable and democratic Iraq, supporting democracy, in the region. This allows the US to become part of the Middle East peace process, gives us a platform to monitor and oversee Iran’s denuclearization program, provides the US with a stable platform for launching support for piracy and other operations in the Indian and Southern Atlantic Oceans, as well as provide Iraq and its people with a strong ally to prevent other countries or terrorist nation-states from attempting the overthrow of Iraq.

We have a large debt to pay to Iraq and the Iraqi people. We should never have left Iraq without the needed stability to continue building their country into a shining model of democracy in the Middle East. Leaving Iraq was purely a political decision. Returning to Iraq is the correct, humanitarian, and proper thing to do.

The Despair In Iraq

This past week, Obama finally decided to recognize there was an issue in Iraq. He has decided to do the “humanitarian” thing, and deliver aid to the poor Yazidis trapped in the mountains in Iraq. Obama has authorized bombing of ISIS targets if they threaten US citizens and consular staff. This sounds great. But it’s not; it is too little, way too late. Children are being beheaded, Christian as well as Muslim children, as well as their parents and grandparents, for any reason the ISIS terrorists can think of. Women have been stoned to death for “adultery”. And who determines adultery in ISIS? Well, if you’re the woman, forget about it.

Obama has had the intelligence briefings. He has had briefings from his national security team. Obama has talked with Middle East leaders. He has gotten briefings from leaders of the rebels in Syria. Kurdish leaders have spent the last year pleading with him. And now, when people, thousands of people, have died, when everyone is demanding action, when the American public is demanding something be done, Obama gives a small token. People in Iraq are dying because of the president’s short-ranged myopic view, and an inadequate effort, for a Status Of Forces Agreement. Christians are forced to pay a tax, convert to Islam, or die, because of a political decision that had nothing to do with supporting a democracy, and more with appeasing a small group of political friends in the US. Obama has strived to ignore the genocide going on in Syria, and now in Iraq, until someone has forced him to do his duty. And now, with such a catastrophe hanging over the Middle East, he believes he has done enough, and so, off on vacation he doth flies.

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or the “caliphate” as Baghdadi wants to call it, has one agenda: The complete subjugation of the entire planet. Baghdadi believes that his dream is the only dream worth speaking of, and Islamic extremists and terrorists are working hard to fill it. Obama refuses to believe that the terrorists in Syria and Iraq present a threat to the US. To be perfectly honest, those terrorists hiding under the flag of ISIS are a threat to the US, Russia, all of Africa, Afghanistan, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, the Ukraine, you name it, ISIS plans on destroying the government and taking over the nation. This is the greatest strategic threat to the US, literally, since World War II, and Obama has allowed it to fester and boil, for no real reason. These terrorists are attacking Lebanon, supposedly on their side, taking down their military and security forces. Next will be the Gaza Strip, hammering Hamas, then, taking up the terror where Hamas feared to tread. Meanwhile, in Africa, Boko Haram will be taken over by the terrorist organization, making that terrorist organization into a facsimile of ISIS. The next step will be coordinating with the Taliban, then overcoming and usurping them, in Afghanistan. And Obama will not do anything.

Our US military is not a showcase for military weaponry and training. Our military is supposed to be used to protect our country from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. And ISIS is currently the biggest threat, bar none, that the US, and the world, is currently facing: An enemy that is determined to destroy our way of life. Democrats and Republicans should be demanding, not urging, demanding, that the president send in ground troops, military forces, to stop this group. It is not too late, and the president can leave, yes, let’s call it what it should be, an occupying force to help properly train the Iraqi military and police force, maintain a vigil, and support democracy in the region, support stability in the region. We need to do so now, with or without the support of the UN or NATO. This is what happened in World War II: A leader of an organization that has decided the world should be set up in a particular manner, who doesn’t care about anyone that does not accept his vision, and who is willing to use any means necessary, political, militarily, psychologically, to achieve his dream. His dream is supposed to be a caliphate based on worship to a higher being, but his reality is enslaving the world and having everyone bow to his commands.

If we don’t do anything, if Putin doesn’t do anything, if Jinping doesn’t do anything, if Ban Ki Moon doesn’t do anything, we will have, as I have said before, a catastrophe we haven’t seen since 1938. Baghdadi, as can be seen from the videos strewn throughout the internet, and news shots by various news organizations, has no qualms, even less qualms than Hitler, in eliminating those he feels are infidels, and thus, inferior to Muslims. By allowing the spread of this “caliphate”, Obama has increased pressure on the Saudi, Kuwaiti, and Emirati royal families, at a time when those families have issues and are feeling the heat from their own radical Muslims. Where once those countries exported their troublemakers to elsewhere, assuaging their and their troublemakers’ consciences by making funds available “to live well” in another country, now the birds are returning to roost, and spread dissension at home. If those troublemakers coalesce under the ISIS umbrella, those countries will fall, and those royal families will be executed, down to babes in arms.

We, as Americans, have an obligation. We have shirked that obligation too long on the altar of political expediency. The result is total mess, a disaster of near-biblical proportions, in an area that is the birthplace of three of the world’s great religions. We must step up, regardless of what the world says, and stop this mad man, his genocidal behavior, and his perversion of Islam. If we delay any longer, if we believe the pinpricks we are delivering are sufficient to halt this, we are sadly disillusioning ourselves. We cannot allow this terrorist organization to proliferate, for, if we ignore it now, we will pay even more in the future, in blood, in personnel, in territory, in everything. As I said, our military is supposed to be used to defend our country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. And this enemy is even more deadly, even more implacable, than Germany and Japan was in 1939.

Israel All Alone: Where is the United States, or Anyone Else?

Israel is under attack. On the one hand, Hamas is raining rockets onto the country, intent on fulfilling its mission of wiping Israel off the map. On the other hand, the United Nations is intent on obliterating Israel’s voice against terrorism and attacks. Meanwhile, proper, upstanding, righteous countries (yeah, right) around the planet are attempting to castigate Israel for defending itself. Meanwhile, Hamas continues to use hospitals, schools, and mosques to hide and launch rockets, mortars, and build and attack through tunnels into Israel. But Israel is the bad guy.

Israel is a country that has a right to survive. Israel has a right to defend its borders and its people. Benjamin Netanyahu deserves the world’s support against these terrorists. Hamas is killing its own people, the Palestinians, who protest against Hamas use of civilian buildings to hide weapons and rockets. The world is turning a blind eye to the atrocities being committed by Hamas, focusing on the nearly 2000 civilian deaths from the Israeli bombing, deaths that would not have happened if Hamas had not put these people in harm’s way. Not since the days of Yasser Arafat has such an organization been so blatant in its desire to inflict harm on its own people in attacking Israel. And yet, the UN, a consortium of nations that is supposed to help quell issues like this, will not raise one hand, not even a finger, to stop Hamas. Qatar, one of the richest nations in the region, actually funds Hamas’ continuing terror tactics, under the guise of tithing to Hamas’ “humanitarian” efforts. If Qatar was truly interested in supporting such efforts, it should give the funds to the Red Crescent, or to the Gaza government directly, with stipulations that the funds are managed under a joint UN/Israeli/Gaza government oversight committee. Not going to happen. Qatar and Turkey, along with Iran, get to kill people without having to get blood on their hands, or so they think.

Islam, as a religion, would be a good religion, if it truly were one of peace. However, radicals are using the religion as a means to kill, torture, rape, murder, and subjugate people. That this is happening on a scale that would make Hitler proud is truly disturbing. That a group is dedicated, not to the overthrow of a government, but to the total annihilation of a people, is appalling. That the United Nations, founded on the ideal that the Holocaust can’t happen again, yet is turning its back on Israel, speaks volumes. And that liberals and progressives, who profess their love for their fellow man or woman, would condemn Israel for protecting itself, while attempting to elevate Hamas to the level of martyr, is truly disgusting, appalling, and disturbing. Hamas, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Taliban, all are synonymous with terrorist dehumanizing behavior. At one time, the world was dedicated to stamping out these blights on human life. Now, these same organizations are held as shining examples to young Arabic children, while hiding the killing and torturing these diseased terrorists perform. And the feminists that attack men anywhere else in the world, are strangely silent on the behavior of Islamic men to Islamic women. The silence is deafening from N.O.W., and any other feminist movement. The Arabic sheiks have lions, leopards, cheetahs, hawks, falcons, horses, dogs, which they all treat with whatever abandon they wish, yet I have yet to hear of one, yes, ONE, demonstration by PETA or GreenPeace against the sheiks of the middle east. However, let SeaWorld help one sealion, and the screams are heard around the world about abuse of animals.

The above is why I have no patience for those who would defend Hamas. Hamas is no different from ISIS. When there was a demonstration against Hamas’ use of civilian structures for protecting weapons and Hamas’ command centers, fifty, yes, 50 of the demonstrators were executed, for “Crimes Against Palestine”. Not much different from ISIS beheading Christians in Mosul for being Christian.

I stand beside Israel. Israel has a right to defend itself against anyone who would encroach upon its sovereignty. Israel has a right to defend its people against those who would attack them, either through rocket fire or through sneak attacks from tunnels. And Israel has a right to enter areas where those attacks are coming from, to root out those who would do Israel and its people harm, and to kill or capture them. If the people of the Gaza Strip are willing to allow Hamas free use of their structures to hide in, the ONLY people they can blame, for any atrocities or attacks on women and children, are themselves. If they don’t wish to stand up to Hamas, they will receive the treatment they deserve, whether by anti-rocket fire and shelling to remove the origin of the attacks, or by being held in thrall to Hamas, and their way of life. For, if the people of the Gaza Strip do not do something about Hamas, they will soon be living like the people under the Taliban: No singing, no dancing, the women held as a third-rate citizen, subject to their husbands’ or families’ wishes, and soccer stadiums used for mass executions. It’s already happening in Iraq.

Obama’s Foreign Policy Doctrine and the Rise of the New Caliphate

obama’s foreign policy doctrine has always been, take our hands off the wheel, do not become enmeshed in international politics. The administration’s hands-off approach determined our departure from Iraq, and our ensuing departure from Afghanistan. With this idea that the US should not involve itself in other countries’ issues, obama made his famous “Red Line in the sand” speech about Syrian use of Chemical Weapons, or Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs), and then subsequently backing off, further delineating what he means about lines.

Now that the world understands the obama foreign policy doctrine really means “We’re not helping anyone, but we will throw money at you because we feel guilty”, the terrorists known as the Islamic State of Iraq in the Levant (ISIL) as well as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has decided to declare itself the Islamic State. This is better known as the Caliphate, and the terrorists have declared Al-Baghdadi as the Caliph, and all muslims must swear to him. What does this mean? Simply this: Every nightmare scenario that can be thought of, pales to insignificance to the reality of a true caliphate.

Under a caliph, in a caliphate, no one who is not a muslim, is considered a citizen. Every christian, buddhist, you name it, is a second class citizen, if not considered a slave. Despite what the UN bleats from their safe haven in New York, in the caliphate, if you are not a true muslim, proven by your imam, you are not worthy of note. You can be bought and sold, and your children can be bought and sold. If you are not a slave, you will be taxed until all of your money is gone, and your goods and any personal items can be confiscated by anyone who deems you owe them anything. Your daughters can be raped, as well as your sons, and there is nothing you can do about this. If you protest, you can be beaten, possibly to death, and your family confiscated and sold as slaves to the greater glory of the caliphate. If you are muslim, your life isn’t much better. Women can be raped, if they are found outside without at least one male member of their family. And to prove they have been raped, they must produce four, count them, four male persons to verify this. If the woman cannot, she will be accused of adultery. This is actually sharia law, and the woman can be whipped, or stoned to death. A muslim man can divorce his wife by announcing in front of male witnesses “I divorce you” three times. An imam should be present, however, someone of high (sic) character can also be used to vouch for the man. Although adultery is frowned upon, a muslim man can have a quick marriage of convenience performed by an imam or mullah, to allow him to have his way with any young woman (and the ages can range as low as 8) he wishes. Homosexual sex is not condoned, publicly, however, young boys, especially blonde boys, are considered, in the caliphate, a particular desire.

Why am I detailing this? Because this is happening in Iraq and Syria now. With the declaration of a caliphate, millions of people in these areas are about to partake of a humanitarian disaster not seen since the collapse of the last caliphate. And how is this the fault of obama? Let us take a look at the path that he trod to this.

obama was elected in 2008 on a platform of hope and change. His role, as leader of the greatest nation, and the last superpower on earth, was to chart a path to stability for the planet. He immediately stumbled. After his coronation, excuse me, inauguration, obama made plans to go, not to Iraq to sit down with Maliki about the resolution of the war. He headed for Chicago to boost the city for the Olympics. obama began a tour of the world, meeting leaders. His message should have been, We are firm but resolute. Bush had laid a path, that any reasonable person could follow, in providing a secure foundation for democracy in the middle east. obama only had to secure a Status Of Forces Agreement (SOFA) to allow 10,000 US troops to remain in Iraq. This group would have been able to train the Iraqi military, shore up and support them in actions throughout Iraq, and work to establish a true democracy and setting for the growth of peace and stability in the region. Instead, obama toured the middle east, apologized for US agression in the area, promised to remove our troops as fast as possible, and ignored Maliki and the Iraqi government. The US State Department, the diplomatic arm of the US government, was supposed to work on the SOFA, and work to help stabilize the government, and was supposed to be working to make sure the Iraqi government was inclusive. The problem with this is that personnel in the embassy and the consulates seldom ventured out of either. With 5,000 people assigned to the embassy alone, there should have been an over abundance of assistance for the Iraqi government and the Iraqi people to be able to work through issues. The reality is, the embassy personnel didn’t provide a lot of assistance, or even little assistance, to either Iraqi government people, or to US business personnel trying to work with the Iraqi people. Business people I actually spoke to told me that they were told the embassy could not provide any direct assistance in meeting either Iraqi government people or Iraqi business people. I attended several meetings at the embassy, and this was borne out. The best the embassy people would offer is to try and bring someone that the group could meet. In contrast, the Chinese and Russian embassies provided direct connections between their industry people and the Iraqi government and industry personnel. And these embassies were not the only ones.

So, with a concrete effort to take all the US military out of the country, along with an embassy that wouldn’t engage with the fledgling government, the recipe for a disaster was there in the making. Nouri Al-Maliki, the prime minister, wasted no time in pushing out those who were not part of his sect of muslim faith. With Talabani, the one vice-president who could handle Maliki, suddenly ill with heart issues, and, for Maliki, safely out of the country in Germany, Maliki began his push to turn Iraq into a Shia-led country. With no real US counsel sitting next to Maliki, Maliki felt no problem about cosying closer to the Shia’s ultimate religious leader, the ayatollah of Iran. This led to more and more power being fed to Maliki’s supporters, and the Sunnis being more and more marginalized. The Kurdish people continued to build their area up, and reinforcing their own Peshmarga forces, in anticipation of a civil war with Maliki and his followers. What happened, however, is much, much worse.

While Iraq was busy fomenting itself into a sectarian civil war, bit by bit, across the border in Syria, a rebellion was gaining serious momentum. Moderate muslims began an attempt to overthrow the government of Assad, because of his barbaric tactics, and his not-inclusive government. Libya had already overthrown Gaddafi, and the Syrians were ready to follow suit. Unfortunately, unlike with Libya, obama refused to provide direct support. No missiles launched, no arms provided. Assad decided to up the ante, and still obama did nothing. The Syrian rebels were soon taken over by ISIL members, and then the rebellion really started getting ugly. ISIL declared any area they overtook to be under sharia law. Before anyone knew it, the extremists terrorists ran over the Syrian border, and ousted the Iraqi military. Since Maliki had the opportunity, and took it, to purge the military of any strong leaders, the military collapsed faster than a house of cards in a chicago wind. obama still had a chance to do something, by sending troops in to support the Iraqi military, but he held his hand back, preferring to ignore the middle east. Rapidly, ISIL/ISIS began taking over towns, developing their own areas, and “cleansing” the area. Read: beheading, killing, etc. With everyone demanding he do something, obama did: he went on vacation. And ISIS/ISIL kept moving forward.

Now that ISIL/ISIS have declared a caliphate, and anointed a caliph, what can be done? What must be done is to have a real US military division dropped in, have the Iraqi military attached to it, and begin the campaign to push the terrorists out. At the same time, the president must send a high-level person to Baghdad, and bring the heads of the three main groups, the Shia, the Sunni, and the Kurds, together and force an inclusive government. We must establish bases in Iraq, to protect the people until such time as they can truly have a safe government, push Iran back across the border, and insure free flow of commerce for the people. We must make sure that all understand that Iraq is one country, with many peoples living there, not three states, in contention with each other.

If we don’t do this, the match to ignite the middle east will not be lit by Israel. It will be lit by someone who decides he has the right and the moral authority to create one nation out of many, and rule as if he were a god. And heaven help those who try to turn a blind eye…

There’s Something Wrong Here…

Brownsville, china, congress, George W Bush, Harry Truman, humanitarian crisis, ISIS, John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi, obama, russia, syria

The president announced that he was going to congress to get $500 million to buy equipment and train Syrian moderates fighting Assad. obama announces over the weekend that he will request $2 billion for the “poor children coming across the border, a great humanitarian crisis”. In none of these announcements did the president say anything about fixing these problems. The president is big on identifying problems to put up as an issue or crisis, but not so big on actually fixing anything.

Let us start with the money to aid the moderates in Syria fighting Assad. In 2012, the president said that “there is a line that must not be crossed”, and Assad immediately crossed it. Both the president and then-secretary of state hillary clinton, as reported by NBC News on 20 Aug 2012, stated that the red line must not be crossed, or there would be enormous consequences. Apparently, those consequences were to have obama and hillary talk even more about consequences. The only thing obama did was that he authorized $50 million for the rebels, to be used on “non-lethal support”, which worked out to be for communications equipment, some vehicles for transport, and what ever else that could be considered “non-lethal”, whatever that is. With repeated denials of support for the rebels, there was only one way this was going, and it went that way. The radicals and ISIL terrorists started taking more and more control of the rebellion. It was only a matter of time before this leaked over to another, fairly unstable country, Iraq.

Now, let’s talk about the “humanitarian crisis” on the US southern border. Anyone who didn’t see this coming spent most of their time in a real dream world. The DREAM (or rather NIGHTMARE) Act was supposed to be used for those who were bought here illegally by their family, who were pursuing a better life, and give them a pathway to eventual citizenship or at least a green card. While I sympathize with those who were bought here with no option to stay behind, this Act was not the way to go. However, for all of those children that are now flowing over the border thinking they will be eligible for the dream act, the proper response is to deport them back, chartering a ship or two and loading them on board, as fast as possible. As a matter of fact, we should be doing this to illegal aliens, anyway. Any other country does not tolerate, will not contenance, such an act as allowing illegals to come across. Check what happens if you try to slip across the border in China, North Korea, South Korea, Japan, India, Iran, Kuwait, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Brazil, Portugal, Chile, hell, even Mexico. All of these countries, and more, will throw you in prison, regardless of your age, submit you to hard labor, then deport you, after fining you. There are no such things as allowing illegal aliens access to driver’s licenses, housing, you name it.

The president wants to waste 2.5 billion dollars of your tax dollars supporting something that doesn’t do anything for oour country strategically. The money spent doesn’t support our country tactically. The money will go to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), who will waste multitudes of the money on administrators, on helpers, on counselors, and the money going to the Syrian moderates will wind up paying for new weapons and atrocities by ISIL/ISIS. This president thinks this makes him appear as a resolute, determined person. The reality is, this makes him look like an uninformed, ignorant, community organizer. Although this president has a Harvard education, somehow, he never shows it.

This administration should be removed as soon as possible. By stepping back from the world stage, and allowing Russia, China, and Iran to gain a foothold, this president has effectively crushed our country’s image world-wide. No other country seems to have any respect for the US. Currently, Russia has delivered five, count them, five fighter jets to allow the Iraqi military forces to attack the insurgents. The state department has been putting all sorts of red tape and buearacracy in the way of US companies and US military equipment providers to support the Iraqi people. Yet, at the same time, Iran, Russia, and China just ask, What do you want? I know the president doesn’t wonder why we have no influence. It’s because he never wanted the US to have any influence. His assertion that Maliki wouldn’t provide the SOFA terms the president needed to keep troops in place, turns out to be quite a lie, considering that it took the president about two days to reach the same agreement to send 300 military trainers into Baghdad. To allow the flow of children across the border, calling it a humanitarian crisis, is also quite a lie, as people have been flooding across the border more and more over the last two or three ears since the dream act became known in countries south of the US. This is a travesty, made more revolting by nancy pelosi’s crocodile tears over the “humanitarian crisis”.

The people of the US of A need to stand up and demand an accounting from their representatives and senators. John Boehner’s suit against the president is not enough. There should be articles of impeachment drawn up. Harry Truman famously had a sign on his desk that said “The Buck Stops Here”. Everything that is done by the administration, and the cabinet, is the responsibility of the president of the United States. Spiro Agnew knew about responsibility, this is why he resigned. Richard Nixon knew about responsibility, that’s why he resigned. George W Bush knew about responsibility, he bore it with grace and humbleness we have not seen since. This president does not believe in responsibility. This president believes he is the anointed of God. This president is just another man, who has man’s fallability. The president is generally held to a higher standard than the regular politician. As such, this president has failed us in the US, reducing the standard of living, wrecking the US economy, and withdrawing our country’s support and leadership from the international stage. We must take this person out of the office. We have the legal and judicial means. The Supreme Court has again struck down as illegal acts of the president. If the congress cannot act on these issues, it is time to remove the congress, and put in place a new one. Elections are coming up soon. Let’s push now!!!

administration, benghazi, Iran, iraq, ISIL, ISIS, obama, Op Ed Obama, opinion piece

Huge announcement this morning. obama had the special forces team, that has been trailing mastermind behind the Benghazi Consulate attack, pick him up. During his press conference, he called it “arresting the bad guy”. Tell us something, obama. Your press representatives from the pentagon and the white house say that the team has been trailing him for the last two years. He hasn’t been hiding, as a matter of fact, he has given several interviews, including with CNN. According to your spokespeople, it took two weeks in 2012 to collect all of the information needed to arrest the guy. And the team was ready to pick up this guy last year, but was called off by the administration. What was that about? You needed to pick the best opportunity to show off your “international diplomacy skills”?

This administration has done such a slipshod job on the international stage, it’s a wonder anyone pays us any attention at all. Wait, the Iraqis aren’t!! They’re approaching the Iranians, and have the commanding general of Iran’s Qods Guards advising the MOD. What else? Oh, yeah, because of our fearless leader’s desire to “end the war in Iraq”, ISIS now have M-1 Abrams tanks to roll around in. Despite what the admiral, the pentagon spokesman, said today, can anyone show us all of the Stinger Air-to-Ground missiles that the Iraqi security forces had, prior to the rout? If ISIS have Abrams, what makes you think they don’t have the Stingers? The one good thing is that the F-16 hadn’t been delivered to Iraq. However, the C-130Js, some of the most sophisticated cargo planes around, may be missing. Even one of those outfitted to be an AC-130 by ISIS could be a serious issue for ground forces, not to mention anyone they decide to take shots at. Would be really embarrassing if ISIS did something like that, then sent the plane to Syria. Or to Turkey, for that matter .

We need to get back into Iraq, with ground troops and air support. We need to go in and stay until the country is stable, regardless of how long it takes. I said before, we didn’t turn our backs on Europe, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, when we completed our missions there. We still have bases in all of these places. Why was Iraq so different? Iraq wasn’t, the president was and is. This president shirked his responsibility on foreign policy, shirked his strategic responsibilities to this country and to Iraq. What was he thinking? He was thinking about his next term of office.

With the scale of disasters this administration has had, domestically and foreign, I am just so shocked that there hasn’t been a call for his impeachment. Richard Nixon was taken for impeachment for missing 18 and a half minutes in hours of taping. Lois Lerner lost TWO YEARS worth of emails, and it’s ho-hum by congress. This administration is governing by executive fiat. Where’s the congress? Where’s the supreme court? Where’s the outrage? If this had been a Republican president, the screaming and yelling and threats of impeachment would have caused the man above to cover his ears!!

It’s one thing to go on jaunts when there’s nothing going on. But, as president, something is always going. Going on fundraising trips when your consulate is being burned down, when your attorney general is responsible for weapons being sold to criminals, when your VA director is giving bonuses to allow vets to die, when your health and human services secretary drops everyone’s health insurance, after you sign one of the biggest frauds in human history, is downright criminal. But no one calls anyone to account.

I can understand when the liberal press soft-pedals or ignores the problems of this administration. What I don’t understand, why doesn’t Fox hit hard when they have the opportunity. Having hillary on Special Report, I thought there would be a go-for-the-, it was like throat portion, but Bret was so easy on hillary, I thought I was watching MSNBC.

What will it take for my country to stand up and say “No More!” What will it take for us to say “This far, and no farther.” Will it be when the barbarians are kicking in our door? When??
